Nutrition and Mental Health: Service
Charlotte is home to a big food bank called Second Harvest. Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina strives through education, advocacy and partnerships to eliminate hunger by the solicitation and distribution of food. They receive donations from stores including Publix, Walmart, Amazon, and more. For my service portion, I volunteered at Second Harvest. During which I helped sort through donations, organize them by sections, and packaged meal boxes for a school.
